Louisville Children’s Museum is more than just interactive and education play for children.

Our Mobile Museum offers four programs, each meeting Kentucky Core Curriculum Standards. Each of our activities are focused on all academic areas, from history, to science, and art allowing educators, like you, to take your lessons beyond the classroom and offer your students the opportunity to feel like they are on a field trip but without having to leave your school building.

We meet the Kentucky Core Curriculum standards as follows:

This program focuses on Louisville and Kentucky history. We will introduce famous past and present Kentuckians and touch on historic landmarks
around the state. Artifacts, replicas, maps, pictures and costumes will help enhance the children’s understanding about the state and world
they live in. Learn About Louisville will give children a better grasp of how Kentucky was in the past, how it has changed and how certain people have influenced the growth of our state as we know it today.
