Louisville Children's Museum's mission is currently met through our Mobile Museum. The Mobile Museum provides hands-on learning experiences for children and families, and can be brought to schools, festivals, small events, and more.
Since 2013, the Mobile Museum has served an estimated 1,903 children and 519 adults/parents/teachers. We have visited 24 schools/preschools/daycares, and homeschool groups. We have also provided activities at large public events. Our activities are rooted in Louisville experiences, and allow for imagination and discovery. We are advocates of a Yes! environment, where kids are encouraged to explore and problem solve in their own way. Each of our activities are focus on all academic areas, from history, to science, and art.
